    Peninsula Players Spotlight Newsletter

    April 2011

Rock 'n' Roll Show is here to Stay! Tickets online at Peninsula Players website

Four young, talented, female singers from Greater Victoria perform a selection of songs from the late 50's to the early 80's. Sit back and relax or get up and twist, shake or shimmy in the aisles as you enjoy the great live vocal arrangements and dancing to recorded musical accompaniment.
We have selected some of the best songs from the period, encompassing a variety of musical styles - many of the songs you will know and love, some may be new to you.

Membership Drive and Registration coming soon...

In the next few weeks we're planning to update our Membership list and create a seachable list of members and interests.  For example, if you indicate you like painting or hair styling, we'll find your name when we're searching for that particular skill.

When you receive the emailed form, please add your details and interests and click the 'Submit' button.  It's easy, you'll be up to date, and ready to participate in about 60 seconds.  We love the Internet!

    Speaking of volunteers...

    NEW WEBSITE

After carryng the Website torch for over 10 years, Website Guru Kai Hansen turned the over the digital reins to Remi Lavictoire, the newbie Webmaster for the Peninsula Players.

The site has been redesigned and created using Squarespace (www.squarespace.com), a service that allow 'non-code' folks like Rem to create and publish a slick website. Huge thanks and Kudo's for the excellent service Kai has provided over the years.

Rem has some big clown shoes to fill....

New functionality includes an integrated Blog, Twitter feed (@SidneyTheatre), links to the Peninsula Players YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr Photo pages.

Have a look at the new site at...
