AUDITIONS FOR THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS AUDITIONS will be held on Saturday August 28th and Sunday August 29th at the Greenglade Community Centre.2151 Lannon Way,Sidney BC. Please call Richard at 250 655 9295 for an audition time or for further information. Backstage and production helpers are also needed and are very welcome. A good time for all is guaranteed. The next Peninsula Players production is a British Pantomime version of THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS. The production will play at the Berwick Theatre in Royal Oak, The Centre in Brentwood Bay and the Winspear Centre in Sidney. Rehearsals will begin in September and the production will play throughout December ,beginning at Brentwood on Dec 10th and closing at Winspear on Dec 28th. The show will not play on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day but will play on Boxing Day. A large cast is required and children 8 years and over are welcome to audition. The main characters in the original story by Kenneth Grahame will all be portrayed.... Mole,Ratty,Badger, Toad, as well as the evil varmints Foxy,Weasely,and Ferrety. They will be joined by the Panto characters Dame Twit, her daughter Bonnie and many others . THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, which is to be a co-production with the Winspear Centre will be a colourful family and community centered Christmas show. THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS,the Pantomime, is a musical show and and some of the characters require strong singing voices. There are also many non-singing roles although all cast members should be able to "carry a Tune' in the company chorus numbers.   If you want to provide the Director of our next play with details about your acting/stage experience fill in the Audition Form.
