    2011 Annual General Meeting


    Big thanks to everyone who came out for the 2011 AGM at the Peninsula Players Clubhouse. Our turnout was very good, twice as big as last year!  

    Also, thanks to 'Corner Grass' for providing awesome musical entertainment for our 'Post AGM' BBQ.

    New Executive Lineup


    The Peninsula Players wish to thank Tony Garnett, Kai Hansen and Becca McCarthy for their valued contributions to the Peninsula Players Executive during this past season.

    Audition Notice


    'Robin Hood - The Pantomime' by Allan Haynes.

    Audition Dates
    Sunday 10 July, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

    Peninsula Players Clubhouse

    Performance Dates:    
    There will be a total of 12 performances at our three theatre venues:
                
    The Centre, Brentwood Bay, Dec 09-11
    Berwick Theatre, Royal Oak, Dec 16-18
    Mary Winspear Centre, Sidney, Dec 21-23 & Dec 27-29

    Rehearsals will be at our clubhouse and will start in early September. They will generally be three times a week (weekday evenings and weekend afternoons).

    This will be typical pantomime with heroes and villains, music, dancing, audience participation and lots of humour.

    There will be a large cast with roles for young people and experienced actors and actresses. Some roles will involve singing and dancing. If you wish to audition for one of these roles, please come to the audition prepared to demonstrate your talents.

    'Gone with the Wine' continues at the Muse Winery!

    Here's a chance to introduce your kids to Theatre...


    Summer camp for kids
     
    Join us at KINDERSURPRISE: Our annual kids camp Cabaret/Variety Show created and performed by kids supported by the mentorship of Atomic

    Vaudeville folk and other professional artists.

    DETAILS:
    Camp dates are Mon July 18th - to - Fri July 22nd
    at the Victoria Events Centre (1015 Broad St.) from 10:00 to 4:00pm
    with an evening performance/show on Friday July 22 at 7:00pm

    We will be doing puppetry, improv, music, video, movement, playwriting, comic books. Teacher/mentors include Cam Culham, Wes Borg, Hank Pine,

    Britt Small and more.Cost is $250 per child or 2 siblings/$450 for the week.
    Age range is 9 and up (but we will consider younger in certain cases).

    To reserve your spot please send an email with your child's name and your phone number to atomicvaudeville@gmail.com ASAP and we will confirm and send you a sign up form.
