    Peninsula Players Annual Executive Retreat

The Peninsula Players held their annual Executive planning retreat in July at the Berwick Royal Oak, and here are a few of the highlights...

Reforming Subcomittee's - The Executive will be reforming several committee's that we found successful in the past.  We're looking for folks to help with Promotions and Marketing, Membership, Website and Social Media, and an ongoing commitment to find a permanent home for the Peninsula Players.  Drop us a quick note on the Contact page and we'll get you involved.

As our Promotions guy, Glen likes to say, 'Many hands make light work'.  Plus, you'll make new friends and have fun while helping to make great Theatre on the Peninsula.

Training program for Actors and Stage Crew - We're looking at opportunities to pair new members with experienced Stage Managers, Producers, Set builders, etc. There is also interest in offering Acting and Stage craft classes to new and veteran members.  Remember, you can be involved with the Peninsula Players even if you have no previous Theatre experience.  Just bring your enthusiasm, and we'll get you started!

Home for the Peninsula Players - At our 2011 retreat, it was decided that the best future for the Peninsula Players would involved our own Club House/Rehearsal/Performance venue.

There has been diligent effort over the years to find a home for the Players, and soon we'll be approaching the Public, City Council, and various other groups to help make this dream a reality.

Many thanks to the staff at the Berwick Royal Oak for their excellent service and hospitality!
